Steve and I have been married for almost a year, so it should not have come as a surprise when our parents started packing up our olds rooms. So over the past few weeks we have been lugging home boxes and bags of nostalgic goodness. So. Much.

Here are some oldies but goodies that I came across to put up around the house:

Buddah! How cute are these little guys?? These two haled from Steve’s house.

Framed picture of Venice. This picture also came from Steve’s house.

Ceramic decorative box, a souvenir from Spain from one of my best friends in high school. So Pretty!

A lovely box with an eagle on it, which holds many of Steve’s treasures.

The light switch that was in my bedroom since I was a baby. My parents finally took it down when I went away to college, but they kept it so I could one day use it in my kid’s rooms. Awww….
Some other goodies… Multiple photo albums (including one from our Senior Prom! Oh my goodness), trophies, stuffed animals, model cars, the bottle of champagne that Steve had for us right after he proposed (awww).
I have to admit, it was nice to go through the things from so long ago. So many wonderful memories. Of course, I have a feeling we will be taking a sizable trip to Goodwill in the next few weeks. I am pretty much a firm believer that if you haven’t used it or worn it in the past year or two, you probably don’t need it. This rule does not apply to dresses, jeans or bear shaped light switches :)
