For Easter, Steve and I made some festive Chick Cake Pops. They were a hit with friends and family. So when asked what I could bring to a 5 year old’s birthday party, cake pops were the clear answer.
I decided strawberry cake with pink candy coating was the best way to go for this princess.
It took a total of about 2 hours from start to finish. Not too bad. I decided to make the candy a little whimsical, rather than tapping off all the excess candy for a smooth coat. I think it makes it a little fancy :)

Anyone else on the cake pop bandwagon? What is you go-to recipe to bring for parties?

Oh yum!! I like how you did the candy whimsical. I’ve never made them, but I love to eat them!

Those look so pretty! I love cake pops, but I’ve never tried to make them. I may have to give it a try for our next party though!
